Forty years ago, at Woodstock, Jorma and Jack played along side Grace Slick and with Jefferson Airplane. Their contributions to the world of rock music have been widely recognized, and in 1996, as members of Jefferson Airplane, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Upon leaving Jefferson Airplane, in the early ‘70s, Jorma and Jack began Hot Tuna and they have been playing together continuously since then, and recording as well, having released more than 25 albums during their tenure. Their music demonstrates the power and depth of American blues and roots music, and Hot Tuna is a master of it.

John Rosenbloom of Black Hole Music, states, “Hot Tuna ties us to Woodstock and the memories of Jefferson Airplane and that era and they remind us of the best of American blues and roots music, which they pay homage to and which they advance with their unique and gifted style and presence. Jorma and Jack have played together for 50 years, and it will be an exciting and memorable show.”
